Campaign Story

Hello, my name is Daphnir, and this is one of the hardest and most vulnerable things I’ve ever had to write. Becoming a mother is something I have prayed for, cried for, and held onto with hope even when hope felt impossible. My husband and I have been trying to grow our family for years, and each setback has taken a piece of our hearts with it.

There is so much love inside of me waiting for a child — a child I dream about, pray for, imagine holding, imagine singing to, imagine watching grow. But despite all of our efforts, the road to parenthood has not been simple or gentle. After tests, procedures, waiting, and heartbreak, we were told that IVF with an egg donor is our strongest chance to finally bring our baby into our lives.

Hearing those words was both hopeful and devastating. Hopeful because there is a path… devastating because the cost of this path is far beyond what we can manage on our own. It hurts to know that finances are the only thing standing between us and the family we long for.

Asking for help is not easy for me. But I am choosing courage over fear, vulnerability over silence, and hope over despair. I am choosing to believe that there are people in this world who understand how deeply the desire for a child can live inside your soul.
